I read a report somewhere (don't ask because I cannot remember) that said you get more TAR and carcinogenics from smoking pot than you do from cigarettes.

Nothing "causes" cancer as far as I know... things like carcinogenics might increase the risk of getting cancer but they don't specifically CAUSE it.
I have known people that haven't touched a cigarette or anything BAD in their life and STILL got cancer... and I have known people that smoked like a train ALL their life and didn't.
I think what this means is that cancer is present in cells and that certain things might increase the chance of it turning into full blown cancer but it doesn't cause it.

Oh do I have a cure for smoking for you... I guarantee that if you do this properly you wont smoke another cigarette again for the rest of your life.
Basically you are now in a stage that is habitual. This means you have neural pathways ingrained with the engrams for smoking. There are actually *2* engrams that smoking produces...
1. The craving for nicotine (Primary)
2. The habit of having something in your mouth (Secondary)
Ever notice how those people who give up smoking take up chewing gum, chewing the end of pens, must always hold something in their hand or generally feel like they are "missing" something? This is due to the second one.
Whenever you put something in your hands or in your mouth like you would a cigarette the triggering of this neural pathway automatically triggers the Primary which begins your craving for nicotine.
You have to remember that in your brain there are 2 friggen massively wide pathways that get traversed whenever the urge to smoke takes you (these can be triggered by anything from "seeing" someone else smoking to smelling it yourself or even remembering what it was like).
If you want to quit smoking you need to BREAK those engrams, you need to reduce this pathway so that it isn't so easy to traverse... the easiest way to do that is what is called aversion therapy.
So here is the cure :
Code:
1. Take one large jar with lid (large pickle jar should do)
2. When you finish a cigarette put the butt in the jar
3. When there are 10 butts in the jar add 200ml of water
4. Close the lid
5. Keep adding cigarette butts
Now... Once the jar looks absolutely digusting and black, keep it sealed and whenver you have the urge to smoke, open the lid and take a BIG and LONG smell of the contents of the jar. It will smell putrid. Now HAVE your cigarette. (Don't forget... you MUST have the cigarette afterwards).
Keep doing this over and over again.
What you are doing is building up a NEW engram that begins to associate the craving for nicotine with the disgusting and repugnant smell of rotting and burnt tobacco.
At some point in your future whenever you crave nocotine it will immediately trigger the aversion engram and thus cancel it out.
