Hello, i am new to VB so please bear with me.

I need an example of how to write a program which can show me the user name of somebody who has a file open on my windows nt network. I've got a document sharing system which is having some weird file-sharing problems, and i've got to detrmine who's accessing a specific file at a partciular time.

The old "winfile" program does this, but I need to know what code is behind it so I can stick it into my VB code and make a filebox and command button to do the same thing.
