I know how important it is to back up files but as far as I can see both Windows 10 built in facilities (like File History) and 3rd Party Software work by performing back ups at a predetermined time. I want to back up any file that I save (including graphics files) at the time I save the new version. In other words the existing version would be backed up before the new version was saved. Is this possible? My first computer, way back in time, was an Amstrad and that used to do it automatically with the extension .bak; it would be strange if it cannot be done now.
