That's great if you have access to the database. I can also imagine it keeps things nice and tidy with a single 'go to' place when business needs change.

Unfortunately, some of us work in an IT world where they think that the database is 'theirs' and no one should meddle with it - the only reason it exists is to support the business process. Mordac, the preventer of information services would be proud.
