Hello,

I am a very motivated windows programmer and I am using VB.NET for over 6 years now and still learning.

Now I want to venture into webprogramming.
I want to build web applications (not websites).

What is the best language to learn?
I will have to choose between ASP.NET (with SQL server) or PHP (with MySQL).

I allready now a great deal about VB.NET.

What do you guys recommend for building webapplications?

I especially want to build applications where users can search data that will be displayed in a grid.
And add, delete and update details..
