Can somebody tell me to how set the default printer?

"set printer = printers(n)" seems to set the printer until I actually try to print something with "printer.enddoc".

The printer I've identified with the set seems to be ignored and the output is treated as if it were intended for the windows default.

If I use the commondialog to allow the user to select the correct printer all is OK but I want to be able to re-set the default printer afterwards.
