[RESOLVED] ANGLE OF INCIDENCE IS EQUAL TO THE ANGLE OF Reflection
hey is this true even when two balls meet?
is this the right way to get the answer?
To get the final angle:
AngleIncidence = AngleReflection
AngleIncidence = (180° + InitialAngle) - (NormalAngle)
AngleReflection = (NormalAngle) - (FinalAngle)
Solving for FinalAngle:
180 + Init - Norm = Norm - Final
180 + Init - 2 Norm = - Final
Final = 2 * Norm - 180 - Init
is the InitialAngle the angle between the two balls and if so does it matter if i get the angle from A to B first or B to A first?
i have the angle between B and A of 134 by 314 degrees when touching each other
ball B is moving at 23 degrees
ball A is moving at 229 degrees
how do i get the right reflextion angle for each ball?
thanks verry much
