You are right, except that I have not trolled anybody or otherwise directed barbs at anyone in this thread. All I did was admitted that I liked trolling and shared a bit of history. I could understand if she was a victim of my trolling but she wasn't, yet she felt the need to launch that venomous passive aggressive diatribe at me. I originally intended to respond to her with some dismissive cheeky one liner but she seemed genuinely bothered so I felt that a dismissive one-liner would have been a little disrespectful hence I opted to respond seriously to her. It seemed to me that her own solipsism was undermining her ability to properly put things in perspective. What she needs to understand is that she cannot allow her emotions to get the better of her just because things don't always conform to her ideal world view. She has no right to demand that her standards be adopted by everyone she encounters. That idea reeks of way too much self importance. So I trolled a couple of websites, so what. I didn't hurt anyone. I didn't deprive anyone of a meal or money. She needs to take that self-righteous zealotry and direct it towards real problems in the world, not inane nonsense like online trolling.

C++ programmers will dismiss you as a cretinous simpleton for your inability to keep track of pointers chained 6 levels deep and Java programmers will pillory you for buying into the evils of Microsoft. Meanwhile C# programmers will get paid just a little bit more than you for writing exactly the same code and VB6 programmers will continue to whitter on about "footprints". - FunkyDexter

The threads I start are Niya and Olaf free zones. No arguing about the benefits of VB6 over .NET here please. Happiness must reign. - yereverluvinuncleber
