I have written a navigation program that uses vector based maps. At the present time when the map is "scrolled" I replot the map on an image box with the new co-ordinates. This of course takes time to re-plot each time. I have seen programs that plot the entire area into a virtual "view" in one hit and then move around the view. On the Amiga it was viewports or similar. Can anyone enlighten me as to how this can be done with VB?
