I am just learning both C# and XNA, but I have read a few tutorials about 3d rendering. I have a model of a house that uses .tga as the texture file. When I run the program I get a black and white house instead of a pretty ukrainian looking one.

I have read on a few forums that you can edit the .fbx file to direct the texture from somewhere else, but when I try to open it in notepad it displays jibberish. Is there a way to load .fbx with out having buy the silly editing software?
