Laptop cooling
Hello, recently I've upgraded my HP Pavilion tx2000 to Win 7 64 bit and though I'm not sure this was the cause for that but the notebook becomes hot within minutes and stays hot. When I say 'hot' I mean it. I can't touch its bottom. It works but every so often it goes into hibernation (due to overheat, I think).
I disassembled it and cleaned (surprisingly there was very little dust) but the problem remains. So, the quesiton: can an upgrade to 64 bit have an impact on this and the second question -- are those cooling devices for laptops all that effective and what else can be done to reduce heat?
