[RESOLVED] Created a DVD, but no sound on DVD player
Hi,
I created a DVD using Sony DVD Architect. It consists of two MPEG-2 video files (and a menu).
I used DVD Architect to render these files into a DVD, which resulted in the familiar AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS folders with some files. Although in my case, the AUDIO_TS folder is empty (it seems the sound is in the video files in the VIDEO_TS folder, is that possible?)
When I burn this DVD using Nero, and try to play it in our DVD player (connected to a TV), it does not play any audio. I thought I must have done something wrong, so I tried inserting the DVD into my PC, and it worked just fine. I can play it using windows media player (actually play it as a DVD), and other programs, and even on other PC's, and they all have sound. Only in our DVD player the sound does not work.
Of course it could be our DVD player, but I watched a different DVD mere hours ago, and that had sound... So I doubt it!
Could I have done something wrong so that PC's know how to play the audio, yet our DVD player does not? Wrong encoding or something?? I've really no clue about this, so thanks for any insights!!
