Hi

In Access 2003 I have a query. Its been running fine until last month, where it refuses to run (executed from Excel).

I have found out that its erroring stating that there are records already existing with the primary key. Fair enough. Except the wuery has been written to exclude those that have the primary key.

So it looks like Access is ignoring the filter condition and running the lot or is not retrieving data correctly.

Has anyone else had this recently (perhaps an MS Office update to break 2003 and request 2007 upgrade??) ?

I am going to look further into it, but the second query erases the data in question, so tonight I shall have another look.

Could it be that there are duplicate records in the main table, that dont exist in the second table, but do after it adds the first record?
