 [NOT RESOLVED - JUST CLOSED] vista wakes from sleep
Well this is a frustrating problem. Seems every 15 minutes after putting the pc to sleep it will wake up. I've searched online for similar problems but none of the answers I've found have solved my problem. I've looked at the devices that are set to "allow this device to wake pc" and the only ones listed are my mouse & keyboard. It does not list my nic as one unless I go to its properties and select "wake on magic packet". Also I've looked at the event logs and when it shows the event when the pc woke up it lists wake source as unknown. However, when I put the pc to sleep & I myself click the mouse or keyboard then the event will list the source as either of those. My final steps are to unplug the keyboard & mouse separately & see if the pc will wake without one of them. But after that I'm out of options. Any one have any ideas?
