In applications like MS-Excel or MS-Word when another user has a file open that I need to use, it will tell me I can open the document as read-only. I'd like to do this in VB. I want to be able to select a filename and find out if it is in usage by another user and then find out who that user is. Does anyone know how to do this in VB?
