Have an application developed in Visual Studio 2008 and the reporting services and SQL Server are running SQL Server 2005. My understanding that the reason my .rdl report files will not work in SQL Server 2005 is that they were created in Visual Studio 2008. Have found a document on the web saying that SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services cannot use the .rdl report files created in Visual Studio 2008. Currently downloading SQL Server 2008 Reporting services to test this issue. Has anyone else seen this problem?
