there wasn't enough room in the case. The current case is an old hp i painted white. Contains all the goodies as before, but a better video card and five hard drives. I also was having problems with the old one keeping it cool. Thus the honking-huge fan port on top of it. Check in chit-chat: I posted a few photos of a much more recent shenanigan.
