Ice-skating is hazardous
So I have the new skates, and on Saturday evening I went ice-skating again. Bad idea... While going around the bend at the far side of the ice-rink my right foot slipped. I thought to myself "okay, just crash into the barrier", but no. Some fool went and dug a huge gash in the ice, so my left skate ended up getting stuck. As I fell, I did what I'm not supposed to: Braced for impact with my left hand. As my hand was going down, I almost cut my own wrist with my own ice-skate.
Everyone keeps giving me advice like "life's not too bad", etc... The more I try to explain, the less anyone wants to listen.
Anyhoo... it took me four days to get typing again. At first I refused stitches, though when the wound wouldn't stop bleeding by Monday, I decided to rather just go get stitches.
EDIT: OHHH... I do have pictures, though to save all of you the grossness of the situation, I'll only upload them on request.
