When changing ram clock, Windows will not start.
Core 2 Duo 2.53ghz
FoxConn M7PMX Motherboard
DDR2 Kingston HyperX 2 x 1 GB 1066mhz - Running at 800mhz by default!!
Normally, the memory speed is at "Auto" and runs at 800mhz, But when I change voltage to what its suppose to be (2.20v @ 1066), and change clock speed to 1066, windows will NOT boot. Sometimes it freezes at "Building DMI Pool", and IF it gets past that, windows will complain of a random error, Usually somethign about ACPI.sys, but also complains of 100% random system files missing. I assume its having problems loading these files from the ram.
Anyone know why it would do this? Or more importantly how to fix it?
