Ok, this is rediculous. I bought a webcam for the VB 2008 project I am working on and I am using the Windows Image Aquisition Automation layer to capture a still image into my app from the webcam. I am working with a variation of the sample code for WIA from the codebank here on VB forums. I installed the Microsoft Lifecam VX-3000 and it works with the MS app it came with, but it does not show up in "Scanners & Cameras" in Vista Ultimate SP1. Is WIA not supported on Vista? Or does the Microsoft camera I purchased to make sure it would support WIA, actually not have WIA support? Thanks for any info.
