OK.. I want to write a program that will (1) Either detect changes in the registry as they happen or compare two backup/exports of the registry. (2) Detect changes/additions in the windows directory and sub-directories or just make a list of files/dates and compare them.

What this will do is allow you to lets' say install a program onto a seperate HDD/CD-R and then make a .reg file to update the registry and a make list of file changed added in the sytem directories. So that I could take the HDD to another comp. and jsut run the reg file and copy the appropriate files.
