Global Warming You Sed....
All this week, the temperature has been in the low 20's/Teens, and thanks to a nice arctic blast from the north, the "feels like" temp has been in the single digits. Today will be the first day (hopefully) that we actually have temperatures above freezing (32 F in the states).
Now don't get me wrong. This area of the country (lower midwest) is accustomed to snow/freezing temps/etc., but even people I've talked to that have been here for many years say it's unusually cold this year.
I'm not ready to jump to the side that says global warming is a lie, but what is the explanation for this weather? Do you realize it snowed in Louisiana (where I'm from originally) of all places? And not just the light mist I saw sometimes when I was a kid. We're talking about 8 inches of snow in a place where I wore shorts on Christmas day for most of my life.
