Print Server
I have an old Laser printer with a scanner/fax on it that connects via Parallel port to my desktop. I have need to use it from two other laptops in my house. We have wireless G access, but no official "network". The PCs to not see/talk to each other. A large thumb drive is our current "network".
I seriously doubt this printer's drivers are included with any modern print server.
Is this worth persuing? I see hardware with multiple parallel ports and it looks like what I want,
but I don't want to have to hassle with returning items if it's doomed.
The laser printer is a Brother MFC 9600.
I also want to plug in an epson color inkjet that I picked up a couple of years ago.
Thoughts? experiences?
