Using VB6 I have written a small application that uses Access MDB as the database.
Works ok on home machine with VB6 and MS Office installed.

However I wish to use the application on my WIN XP Laptop, which does not have VB6 or Office installed.

I have made an .EXE file. Again this runs on home machine.

When trying to run it on Laptop I get the following.

Run Time error '429'
ActiveX componant cant create object.


No other information given.

Can somebody please give me the laymans explanation as to why this is happening and the fix please. Again in laymans terms
