Help - Cleaning up an Audio file
I need help.....
Well, actually, I have an audio file that needs help. I did an interview over the phone and the recording is terrible. The guy I interviewed can barely be heard. If I simply amplify the volumne, it is still hard to hear because the background static also gets loud.
Anyone work with audio files? I really need to transcribe this interview. While my side of the conversation is blaringly loud, it is the interviewee that is interesting. If anyone has some really good sound editing software and knows how to use it to clean up a file, I'd appreciate any help. I have the file in an MP3 format.
If you can help, let me know.
(I've since switched to a different, digital recording system, so I no longer have this problem; however, I'd like to salvage this interview if possible....)
Brad!
