I'm having a bit of a time here trying to determine what exactly needs DCOM and MDAC installed on the end-user's machine.

I was using DAO 3.6 and Access 2000 which I know need them.

I'm now using DAO 3.51 and Access 97 database. How am I supposed to know if my users need DCOM and MDAC, and if so, what version of MDAC?
