I have to write an ActiveX control which when a button is pressed:
1. Scans an image from a flatbed scanner
2. stores the image in an SQL 7 database

Can anyone help by telling me how to scan an image from a scanner using VB without using the wang controls included in VB6 and save the scanned image in SQL7
