On February 12., 2001, forums.vb-world.net user jeff_1 was the only person in history too sucessfully commit suicide with a rusty spoon.Authorities said that he appeared to have an assortment of rusty spoons wedged in certain areas of his body that did not instantly cause death..but instead gave jeff_1 immense pain for hours before his body gave in to the pain.While investigating the scene authorities found a suicide note, and a cache of weapons, the note described how the suicidee could no longer stand the pain of another lonely valentines day and the note also described a plan to murder "Lovey dovey people" on valentines day.. with detailed instructions on when and where the hits were going to take place jeff_1 planned to eradictae all that is happy.
A police spokeswoman told reporters "We had no idea this was going to take place..we thought everyone was happy on valentines day!" a neighbor said that jeff_1 would always walk around aimlessley during this time of the year and mumble "cupid is the work of the devil!!".

Also in the suicide note there was a reference to a "Cult of the rusty spoon" and all of it's members:

Authorities are advising all people on valentines day to be aware and very cautious.as these suspects are still on the loose and considered armed and extremely dangerous.
