invalid IP address, DHCP server, Wireless
Hi there,
I’ve installed a new wireless router and all functions work properly beside when I configure my encryption under; WPA pre-shared-key: Hex 64 characters. From the security settings of the router it looks fine and I can even locate the network from my XP Pro (SP2). However, I can not access from my XP even after I insert the Hex (Password) for the network. I can see that both of my wireless card and the XP recognize the network but for some reason I can’t get through. In addition, while I’m clicking on the support tab of the wireless network connection icon it says invalid IP address while before I applied the encryption in the router it shown that the IP address was assigned by DHCP server. Please help me with this problem.
Many thanks in advance,
Ben
