OS windows 2000 user question

hi guys,

1. i am using windows 2000 as OS. i hv my own user name and pass to enter the system. sometimes i use to enter as Administrator too . if again(new) made a user name and password can i able to edit , save documents that i previously stored used . the reason is the same computer am using will use another guy next week and i dont want to show some important documents that i did. can anybody explain briefly the restriction in windows 2000

2. One other question... in my home am using windows 98 as OS. How should i know which are hardware am using and what all the driver files i needed. bcs i want to reformat my pc and i thought of if the driver file of particular h/w is not available then. is there any easy way to find out the driver files am using.....
