Hello all, well, i'm writing this post in the hope that you can help me out here.
I have a monitor that can support 1280x1024 @ 60hertz, which i know is really bad, but this seems like the maximum it can actually handle according to the drivers...
However, 60Hertz really is hurting my eyes and i was wondering if i could set it to around 90Hertz, i have tried this by unchecking the hide modes box and it seemed stable, although i only left it like this for a minute fearing damage could be done to my monitor.
As it is it is flickering, or seems like it is, you know what i mean rite ? almost as if you can see it refreshing...

How can i find out what the maximum my monitor can actually support ? bearing in mind i don't know the make or model of my Monitor...

Any help ?
