package and deployment wizard questions
I am getting an error when trying to run(?) this form containing an OLE object, it gives me the following error
“run-time error ‘31031’:
application-defined or object-related error”
i did a search for 31031 on this forum and it turned up a thread which said this error is hardware related(amount of RAM)!!??
I checked in the system directory for instances of oleaut32.dll, olepro32.dll and stdole2.tlb
Funny thing is when I copy the .exe file directly form pc to laptop, I don’t get this error.
Also the installation wizard creates an entry on the start window, how do I create an uninstall entry on the start menu ?
How does the package and deployment wizard decide that certain files are “shared files” and certain are not?
Which application is a.dep read in? ( I am reading it in notepad at the moment)
I included the excel files in the package but they would not copy to the right locations, instead just say in the support directory
