    Resolved Restoring XP system files? [RESOLVED]

    I remember in Windows 98 i could check for missing/corrupt system files of the sort, i think i typed Start > Run > "SFC".

    How can i do this on XP, when i type Start > Run > "CHKDSK"

    It always shows a message saying that the scan will be permormed next time i start the PC, but nothing ever happens
