I just started with C# a few days ago, and now got to learn to use it with asp.net (first time there too).

Dont' want to waste my time on learning the wrong stuff (don't have it..i'm on probation!) so wanted to know if I'm wasting my time with a book called Beginning ASP.Net 1.0 with C#.

I'm using Whidbey (if that make any difference), but don't see any "ASP.Net Application" or something in the new project dialog box. Missing something?
