    Front Panel Audio...?

I drag my machine around quite a bit... at home i have Logitech Z-640 (5.1) speakers and at work I often am stuck using headphones because I like my music a little too loud..

My problem is for some reason my motherboard only supports rear or front panel, I cant use both w/o changing jumpers.

I was wondering if i could make a little "adapter" out of a old jumper and use it safely?
