    Nevermind. I'm not good at reading sometimes.

    So this isn't an entirely useless post, a hard drive maker did make a 97GB hard drive entirely out of solid state memory. I believe it costs about $60k USD so it might be a while before solid state wins out the current HDs. Though I heard a company is currently developing a solid state type of memory that would be must cheaper and could hold much more data. I'll have to see if I can find that link.
