    Resolved Programs Wont Work With 1 GB RAM??

    We have a dedicated PC for number crunching that gets upgraded every so often to the highest spec possible.
    We are upgrading now and I wanted to replace my current PC with the old number cruncher.

    Our IT department reckons that because it has 1GB RAM some of the business applications wont work with it?

    Our business applications are based around Oracle.

    Does this sound like BS to you?
