    Exclamation Lot's of problems [UNRESOLVED]

Great microsoft products on the bug, please help, me tired to hell, before I shoot myself in the head, please don't encourage me by saying Format your drive tips or reinstall:

    1. Windows XP pro SP1:

On my laptop, when I shut it down from windows, it takes a lot of time for no apearant reason. After the usual saving your settings stuff, there's a black screen and it takes ALOT of time to close, which is not so great... I got SP1 and all security updates before SP2, SP2 is total crap, so don't bother asking me to install it plz.

Possible things affecting it: Novell netware or the following problems

    2. .Net Framework:

Whenever I run the .Net framework, there's a MSI like window poping out saying "Please wait while we configure Microsoft XP with frontpage", I thought, oh, maybe I forgot a component from frontpage, so I looked it up, but I didn't...

    3. Office

On any office program, like word, when it starts there's a window poping out and saying it contains macros (blank document here) and it asks if I wanna open it in read-only... hmk, no virus, got antivirus with up to date definitions, crazy problems targetting me...

This office problem might have occured since I installed Antidote (french program update better than that dictionnary from word... etc), which started up with the macro craps...

    4. Novell security

There is a thing that bothers me from Novell which would be very cool to hold off temporarilly: When you install Novell on a computer (client) you may notice that it takes a lot of time to display a property window of a file or folder even though my laptop computer has an ati radeon 9700 mobility, with 1 gig ram and dual bus channel 2 ghz centrino processor... which is probably from the fact that it searches for network rights to display the properties (which the laptop is not connected to most of the time...)

    ---

Well, I guess that's it, we all have our little microsoft tweaks to make a day or another... I just hope people ran into a few of my problems to help me solve them, I'd greatly appreciate any pointers on them.
