i am trying to get my sisters windows box online before my router comes , i got a longer rj45 wire today so i thought i would try from my cable modem to her pc withthe longer wire ,
now i am having trouble to even get her pc to a 192 addresss so that i can do ipconfig renew and them get it online , buts its just saying 169 no matter what i do. i am seriously thinking of putting xp on her machine unless someone hear can solve the prob
