GeForce2 64MB Graphics Card
I recently installed the above card. I noticed two things I hope someone can explain.
OS: Win98
1. The card appeared to eat almost all available memory to the point I could not compile a VB program I can normally compile easily. Is this common for AGP cards of this type???
Note: Installing my original PCI video card reclaimed this memory so I'm fairly sure the AGP video card is the issue.
2. I also noticed under Win98, Control Panel, Display, that the card seemed to think I had two monitors installed even though there was ONLY one. It recognized my Dell monitor, but also thought there was an Unknown monitor on the same card.
Note: Installing my original PCI video card shows only one monitor listed in Control Panel.
Thanks
David
