EU taxation
The EU recently addmitted 10 new countries. yay for them.
Apparently, a lot of these countries have recently cut their corporate taxes in order to increase their attractvieness to outside investment and such. Many have started dressing in shorter skirts too.
I read recently that France and Germany (both with High tax rates) have complained about "tax competition" could only hurt the EU and have started talking about forcing these smaller countries to not do what Ireland did and raise back their tax rates in order to have "fair" taxation.
I had a profound question when I started this but have completly forgotten it. So I'll end lamely with:
