PC 166 SDRAM - Does it exist. [Yes it does - RESOLVED]
I ordered some SDRAM last week. What I was supposed to get was a 128MB 133MHZ SDRAM SIMM.
When I recieved the memory I tried it in my computer and it didn't work. On closer inspection it appears the memory is 166mhz - which my m/b doesn't support.
I contacted the company who I purchased the memory from and they basically told me there is no such thing as 166mhz memory, told me to take a hike, that it was 133MHZ memory and that I probably broke it when I put it in my m/b. The company has now gone awol and won't reply to my e-mails or phone calls.
The label on the front of the module states:
128 MEG SyncMAX PC-166
Part No: S128M-08986-VC1663 PC166 CL3
Can anyone off my any information on this?
