anyone have any issues with a cursor/mouse pointer disappearing in Office?

Win98 with Office XP
or
Win 98 with Office 2000

When I go to a submenu the cursor disappears. You can still see the items highlite if you go over the top of the menu.....

but you cannot see the actual cursor/mouse pointer unless you reboot.
