Its about time i bought another VB book to add to my small collection.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a good VB book, Preferably one that doesnt have too much database stuff, or stuff to do with SQL or Email functionality?

I have seen advertisements for The Visual Basic Reference Library, does anyone know it? I am wondering if it is worth paying $80 for 3000+ pages, only to find that it gives itself over to email, SQl and databases! Im not a beginner, but im not an expert either. And i can always find time to learn about optimising code, encryption, API, and distribution issues.

I would be very interested to hear your opinions (on any books really)

thanks, Woss
