VB6 = ListView.Listitems.Item("Woof") What is .NET equivalent?

OK, in VB6 I would do:

Dim lvwItem   As ListItem
   Set lvwItem = ListView1.ListItems.Item("Woof")

in .NET I want to do:

Dim lvwItem  As ListViewItem
   lvwItem  = Listview1. ?????????

I feel really daft for asking this
