I had a math test where we had to prove a trig identity, among other things. Before hand, our teacher told us if he asked a question like that, the identity was TRUE, and we didn't have to check it first (with a graphic calculator).

Now, one of the identities was wrong, and after wasting 10 minutes on in, I checked it on the calculator, saw it was false, and wrote "FALSE" write over it.

Anyways, after he gives me 0 on the problem, I talk to him about it and he gives me 4 (out of 5).

His reason for not giving me the extra point is that I proved him wrong. Ya, you read it right, he's taking a point out of spite.
