    Delete or disable object placeholders in Powerpoint XP

    I'm using powerpoint XP, and when i cut a chart via a macro and past it as a gif powerpoint sticks a placeholder onto the slide where the chart was.

    Is there any way to either delete this, or disable them?


    The place holders also seam to take on a different name depending on how many other items there are on the form
