hi all,
Am currently doing a large VB project involving huge amounts of sound files.
I would like to know if it is relatively safe to produce my final work on DVD rather that CD.
I understand that DVD is not yet fully standard for Desktop PCs as there are a lot still using just CD.
Do you think DVD would take over CDs? so its the future? I am talking about DVD-ROM here. (seeing that DVD drives are comming down in price)
I dont mind the fact that there is probably less than 20% or 10% of PCs out their with DVD drives. (I dont mind coz that would create/allow us to exploit a market of its own.. i.e. DVD.. with less competition at the moment as there are few DVD-ROM titles. Thus those with DVD drives will be more likely to buy DVD-ROM products - coz they have a DVD Drive)
what do you all think?
many thanks,
Abdul
