I requrie help on making interactive programs in visual basic.

At work i use software that connects to a LAN and displays infor and lets me enter new info.

I would very much like to make a VB program so i can enter some stuff then the program accesses this window for me and enters information, even grabs information from the window and returns it to my program to calculate things.

I want to automate some tasks that take me a while.. in the connection we have screen numbers which when enetered jump us to another screen within this one window, I would like for this functonality to be included too so i can really automate it to scrape all the data i require.

ALso, does it exist for the possibility of making a VB program email?

help on where to look for info is appreciated.
