hi IM planning to make something in a couple of weeks time
and was wondering if any of you amazing people out there know roughly where i can start

i want to do this

Ive been making our companys main software application however we have lots of remote workers running this app and there is a need to be able to remote search then hard drive of the documents server and kinda ftp it

so i was wondering how would you go about making a kind of ftp server/client app ?

anyone shed any light on this
